Welcome

I love my job; working with people to grow closer to and understand their dogs. This is the job of my dreams, every family that enjoys their dog more because of the training is why I do it.   A few of my favorite things to do with my dogs is hiking, running and lazy time on the couch. This  is why I understand how much more enjoyable all of these things can be when your dog is responsive. When the communication is understood we can enjoy everything more!

In-home training is one of the best ways to learn to communicate with your dog. You will learn the psychology of behavior, and correct it.

I recommend most people get at least two in-home sessions with their dog. You will gain a better understanding of how dogs think making better communication all the way around. When doing an in-home training I teach you how to train so you do not always have to depend on me. Communication is key in any relationship and that includes the one with your dog. I help people with things like jumping, rushing the door, jumping on furniture, being polite with other dogs and people. I can also help you with dogs that deal with anxiety, aggregation, insecurity or just hyper activity. We work with all breeds and sizes, any ages, any skill level any problem. I don't believe that small dogs can't learn and I also don't believe that you have to except bad behavior just because your dog is a senior. I have been doing in-home training since 2007, I love working with people and their best friends. Many people are putting up with things that they could easily fix, live more at peace, and even enjoy their dogs. I have worked with The Pet Social Worker and other rescues in Maricopa to rehab dogs, I am happy to report they are in wonderful homes now. I do not offer a "quick fix"; it doesn't always happen over night, but with correct understanding of the dog and better communication, I will give you the tools you need to improve the relationship with your dog. I use dog psychology and behavioral science when training to help you get the most out of your training.

Obedience Classes is a great way for dog thats love to learn, and we want to enjoy our walks. The perfect way to learn to do both is joining our class. Additionally, we learn social skills and manners.

I was in 4-H with my dogs doing group classes for 9 years until I was 18, I was then old enough to start to teach. I have been teaching obedience for the 4-H kids for since 2008. I started opening the class up for others to attend in 2015 and really have enjoyed it! I teach you how to train the basic commands such as sit, lay, stand, stay, com, heal and more. These are things some dogs do well at home but practicing with so many distractions helps to build that bond with you and making your dog more attentive to you. There are different levels in the class, so anyone can jump in at anytime. This class will give your dog the ability to practice meeting other dogs, learn when they need to avoid dogs, to pay attention to you and what you are telling them to do. If you are having more problems then you think this class will  help you with I recommend doing an in-home training also. For high energy dogs the agility class is a great thing to add to their training. I do recommend getting the Trip-Less Trainer leash when taking this class, in addition to your 6 foot leash and a choke chain. If you have a preference you may bring whatever you want. If you are not sure how to use the chain, bring it, and I will show you before you put it on your dog. For class days and times please contact me or follow me on Facebook to always stay up to date.
